2013 British Penny

Apparently for 2015 they have changed the queen's portrait again. This 2013 penny has the 4th portrait. The new 5th portrait has the queen looking elderly, which is not a bad thing just accurate.

While I do not know the mintage of this coin I think they are still pretty common. Historically British coins are common and since their economy is good there is no need to scale back production.

Here's the stats...
Type/Country: 1 Penny / Great Britain
Year: 2013
Mintage: Not yet known.
Metal: Copper-Plated Steel
Value: $0.02 in VF
