Coined For Money: Round-Up Aug. 13-19, 2012

Often I read about coin, currency, or money news that I find interesting. Often I forget these links a few days later so here they go as a record and also a bit of weekly news.

Canadians invade the U.S. for diary products and gas according to this The Vancouver Sun article.

The Canadian dollar finally weakened against the U.S. dollar.

I found 4 Canadian coins the prettiest was a 2008 nickel.

Might as well throw in one more Canadian story.

The new loonies and toonies are being rejected by most vending machines causing an expensive upgrade to be performed. Bag of chips sit uneaten just inches centimeters from hungry Canadian mouths.

Hi I have a 1995 quarter that has a smooth copper and slight silver edge to it it feels heavier then a normal quarter ?
